Kunming Philharmonic Choir
Founded in 1993, Kunming Philharmonic Choir is composed of chorus lovers from Yunnan government authorities at provincial and municipal level, schools, troops, enterprises and public institutions. Over the past two decades, the chorus has achieved fruitful results through unremitting efforts and once had a chance to perform for state leaders.
Once the choir won the first prize in the first Kunming Nie Er Cup Chorus Competition and the silver award in the 8th China Chorus Festival. It also won the special prize and the best musical award in Thousand Miao Villages Cup Competition, a cultural exchange of Yunnan- Guizhou folk art.
With a positive attitude to accept rigorous training and learn by heart, the chorus has actively participated in the chorus performances at national, provincial and municipal levels and has received high praises from the audience and experts.
