莆田学院音乐学院合唱团成立于2006年10月，由青年指挥家、莆田学院音乐学院院长林荣华教授担任合唱团常任指挥和艺术总监，成员均为莆田学院音乐学院在读学生。该团本着“提高学生艺术修养，丰富校园文化生活”的宗旨，在探索和实践中不断发展，以专业的舞台和专业的赛事锻炼学生的综合能力。几年来，在不间断的严格训练下，合唱团的演唱水平逐年提高，先后获得国家级奖项4次，省级金奖或一等奖10次。与此同时，还多次参加服务地方文化建设的各类演出。A brief introduction to Music College Choir in Putian University
Music College Choir in Putian University Established in October 2006. Professor LinRonghua, a young conductor who works as the dean of Music College in Putian University, serves as its permanent conductor and art director. All the chorus members are students from Putian University.
The choir’s aims to improve students' artistic accomplishment and enrichcampus cultural life and works hard to improve students’ comprehensive ability in various professional competitions. It has made greater progress in chorus skills after years’ continued hard training, such as winners of the national prizes for 4 times, provincial gold award winner and the first prize winner for 10 times. At the same time, it participated in various performances during the local cultural construction.
